General Questions about Our Ongoing Marketing Services

  • Everything is customizable. We (or you) can add your logo, your own photos, and tweak the wording as needed.

  • We release fresh newsletter and blog content for our members every two weeks, on the 1st and 15th of every month.. Yes, we’re that hardcore.

  • Email marketing will require around 30 minutes of your time each month. Blogging will require 60-90 minutes of your time each month.

    You can also delegate these tasks to your team member or VA, and we’d be happy to work with them directly.

    We are not a “set it and forget it” membership, nor are we the solution if you’re looking to hand off your marketing and never look back. Your input is crucial and can be as simple as directing us on what edits to make so that the marketing content we provide matches your brand beautifully.

    You are your business’s biggest asset, and your business marketing can’t function without you.

  • We use Mailchimp for email marketing and newsletters, but you can also copy/paste the photos and text into any email platform that you prefer, including FloDesk.

    ***If you prefer to have us handle your email marketing for you, you are required to have a Mailchimp account. If you prefer to use FloDesk, you will simply need to customize the content we create for you on your own. Our many FloDesk users have had no issue going this route.

    If you are blogging with us, any website platform you have will be perfectly fine.

    Our pricing guide, lead magnet, social media, and client guide templates all require a (free) Canva account to access and edit.

  • Yes, and the level of consulting / strategy you receive depends on the plan you select.

  • You get access to both premade social media posts (images and captions) as well as Canva social media templates that allow for more customization using own your images.

    We do not customize or post this social content for you.

    DISCLAIMER

    Social media is for connecting with clients and colleagues whom you already know offline and has not proven to be a good source of NEW clients for most home pros. Social media is for being social, not for selling services.

    While we provide easy social media planners and templates as member bonuses, we do not post on social media for you. Our services cover email, blog, and sales funnel marketing - specifically - because these marketing strategies have proven successful for the home industry.

  • We’ve been running this membership since 2016 and have never had an issue with overlap. The large quantity and variety of what we offer resonates with very specific aesthetics. Not every Vault member will want to use or select the same content. Plus, all content can and should be modified to suit your brand.

  • All account and plan changes require a 30 day written notice, regardless of billing cycle.

    Downgrades and cancellations are only available for clients who have been a paying client on any Socialite Vault plan for at least six (6) cumulative months. Upgrades are always available with a written 30 day notice.

    Due to the digital nature of our products and services, we do not issue refunds.

    As a client of Socialite Vault, you are agreeing to these and other Terms & Conditions, which can be read in full here.

Questions Specific to Email Marketing Services

  • Your input and feedback are absolutely necessary.

    You’ll need to set aside 30 minutes per month to select your newsletter topic (or make a custom request) and tell us which photos and text should be adjusted to suit your brand.

  • We provide newsletters that are already written and ready to use.

    Depending on your membership level with us, you’ll be able to either add your own customizations or have us customize them for you.

    We do not write newsletters for you from scratch, nor will we turn your past blog posts or notes into newsletters. However, we welcome your topic suggestions. If your topic idea is a good fit, we’ll add it to our production schedule for you and our other clients to use.

  • Nope! We’ve got that covered, though we always appreciate your input. If you have a specific topic idea that your ideal client would love, simply ask for it and we’ll likely be able to create it for you.

  • No, we’ve found that generic content doesn’t serve anyone very well. ;) Most of our content is generated by our members making requests for specific topics. We then do the research on those topics, curate photos, and produce professional newsletters based on their simple requests.

    We keep our content within the bounds of the high end and luxury end home industry. We do not provide DIY content.

Questions Specific to Blogging Services

  • No, this would greatly hurt your SEO, as it would result in many home pros using the same content. Google penalizes websites for that, plus it would be a disservice to you and your potential clients.

    Our blog posts are structured to fit your brand and unique, local SEO. This means we need your input on each topic. You’ll be asked 3-5 questions and the blog post will be constructed from there, after which YES you can copy / paste it into your website (or we’ll do that for you if you’re on our Platinum plan).

  • TOPICS

    We’ve got that covered, though we always appreciate your input. If you have a specific topic idea that your ideal client would love, simply ask for it and we’ll likely be able to create it for you.

    IMAGES

    We provide curated stock images for each blog post. As a Silver or Gold plan user, you can use stock images, your own images, or a mix of both.

    As a Platinum plan user, you have the option to have us select photos from your portfolio or from free stock photo resources online.

    If using your own photos, we will need access to your portfolio photos via Dropbox or Google Drive — either your entire portfolio or a selection of your choice.

    If you choose to have us source free stock photos for you, we will curate them based on your brand and aesthetic.

    IMAGE QUALITY

    Images should be of high quality and at least 850px on any side.

  • No, we’ve found that generic content doesn’t serve anyone very well. ;)

    Most of our content is generated by our members making requests for specific topics. We then do the research on those topics, curate photos, and produce professional blog post outlines based on their requests.

  • We do not write your blog post start-to-finish (this would result in everyone having the same blog posts and not sounding very personal - yikes!) but instead we ask you specific questions on your chosen topics that help us flesh out the body of your blog post. This ensures that your blog post will sound like you and remain completely unique from our other members’ blog posts.

    Additionally, we provide editing and proofreading services, along with SEO and formatting for each blog post. We also provide titles, headings, and calls-to-action for each blog post.

  • As a member, you have access to our blog post builders, in which we’ll ask you specific questions about the topic that will result in building out the entire blog post in your unique brand voice. You’ll receive your finished blog post by email, complete with title and headers.

    Each blog topic includes resized and SEO-optimized photos to choose from, along with social media captions. These items, as well as the blog post builders, are available on-demand and can be used at any time during your membership.

    Members on our Platinum Plan will also benefit from our team providing keyword research, editing, formatting, SEO-optimizing, and scheduling their completed blog posts (2 per month maximum) on their website within 7 business days. We will also polish the posts for grammar, spelling, and flow, and we will hand-select on-brand photos from your portfolio or free stock photo resources.

  • SILVER & GOLD MEMBERS

    When you select a blog post topic and answer its questions, you will receive your completed blog post by email. Please give it at least 15 minutes to arrive. If you do not receive it, please let us know, and we can advise you or retrieve the blog post in our database.

    When you receive the post, you can copy and paste it to your website, add photos from our curated collection or your own portfolio, and schedule the blog post to publish on the date of your choice. Then, share your blog post on social media using our pre-written captions. Easy!

    PLATINUM MEMBERS

    When you submit your blog post builder, be sure to select the “I’m a Platinum (formerly called Elitist) member” option. Our team will automatically receive your request.

    From there, our team will review the post and confirm that we have everything we need to format it, such as access to your portfolio photos, permission to use stock photos, your SideDoor links, etc. If we have any issues with links or missing images, we'll contact you promptly.

    Once we receive everything we need, our team will revise and format your post within 5-7 business days. When it’s ready, we'll send you an email confirmation. If you selected a desired publish date in the original blog post builder, we will schedule your post to publish on that date.

  • Once we have received your blog post builder request and have confirmed we have the images and links necessary to complete your post (if applicable), your blog post will be ready within 5-7 business days.

  • SILVER & GOLD MEMBERS

    Simply copy/paste the title, headings, and body text that is sent to you directly into a new blog post on your website. Add your images as desired. Schedule or publish your post when you are ready.

    PLATINUM MEMBERS

    Our team will take care of everything. However, if we are not using stock photos for your blog post, we will need you to provide the images for the post. This doesn’t necessarily mean hand-selecting photos, unless you would like to. We are happy to select portfolio images from your shared DropBox or GoogleDrive folder.

    Once our team has edited and formatted your post, you'll receive a confirmation email either stating your post has been scheduled or that it needs to be scheduled. If it needs to be scheduled, you can either schedule/publish it yourself or let us know the date you'd like us to schedule it.

  • SILVER & GOLD MEMBERS

    Your completed blog post already includes most of the essential information needed for search engines to categorize the post: a descriptive title, section headers, structured content flow for readability (which leads to longer on-site traffic), and photos with optimized alt-tags.

    To make the post even more SEO effective, please add your location keywords (cities, region, or zip codes) to the image file names before uploading them to your website.

    When formatting, you will also want to select one Category for the post (no tags), add an excerpt from your blog post’s introduction, and any appropriate links to other content on your website, such as links to your portfolio, lead magnet signup, or contact page. Then, share it on social media.

    PLATINUM MEMBERS

    Your completed blog post already includes most of the essential information needed for search engines to categorize the post: a descriptive title, section headers, structured content flow for readability (which leads to longer on-site traffic), and photos with optimized alt-tags.

    However, our team’s service to you goes the extra mile with personalization, making sure that each of these are 100% unique to you. We also include very specific SEO keywords in your image alt-tags. These are aligned with the following:

    1) Your location (a mix of city, region, and/or zip code)

    2) The style of your work as the average person would search it (modern, traditional, transitional, maximalist, etc.)

    3) The type of projects you work on (custom homes, kitchen renovations, custom window treatments, upholstery, home staging, etc.)

    When formatting the post, we will also add the finishing touches that search engines love: a category, custom URL, an excerpt, and links to other relevant content on your website.
